Early Intervention

Ages 0-3

Our Early intervention program is led by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who is an approved Illinois State Early Intervention provider.

Since requirements to become a BCBA does not require coursework or any experience in early childhood, it is extremely rare for a BCBA to meet Early Intervention criteria. We are proud to have Selma as one of less than 20 BCBA’s in the State of Illinois who holds a full-credential with early intervention. She is also dually-credentialed as a Developmental Therapist.

Contact us, along with your service coordinator. This is critical, as we can provide you the information needed to get ABA treatment covered by Early Intervention.

We encourage you to begin the Enrollment Process if your child is in early intervention and you want to receive ABA services beyond early intervention cut-off age (3 years old).

Provide your service coordinator with this document:
Early Intervention approves Board Certified Behavior Analyst  from the “Illinois Early Intervention Provider Handbook,” Revised 2016, Chapter 17. Let your service coordinator know the code for an initial assessment is 96150.
Remember, it is very likely that your medical insurance will cover ABA, so starting the process with both early intervention and insurance will help your child receive treatment as soon as possible.

Provide your service coordinator with this document:
Early Intervention approves Board Certified Behavior Analyst from the “EI Provider Handbook,” page 28.
