Board Certified
Behavior Analyst and Verbal Behavior Consultant with
12 years of experience treating children with autism and other
related disorders. While obtaining her undergraduate degree, she
began working as a therapist in home-based ABA programs.
Ms. Martinez obtained her BA with an emphasis in Education and holds
a Secondary Education State of Illinois Teaching
Certificate. Later, she received her M.S.Ed. (Masters of Science
in Early Childhood Special Education) from Northern Illinois
University and continued her formal education through the
University of North Texas, meeting all coursework requirements
for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
Seeing the high demand for
applied behavior analysis programs in schools, she founded
Research for Autism Center of Education, Inc. a not-for-profit
501(c)3 organization. The center was created in order to provide a model classroom to
demonstrate the effectiveness of ABA using a Verbal Behavior
approach within a classroom setting.
Presently, Ms. Martinez
provides ABA/VB consultation services to various learning
centers, school districts, as well as home-based programs.
