BCBA-Early Intervention Specialist
An early intervention specialist provides services to families with children from 0-3yrs and their families. This is accomplished through providing therapy, evaluating goals, and assisting families in transition to the school setting when the child ages out of early intervention services (3y).
Requirements:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst credential
- Completed at least 500 hours of direct treatment based on ABA principles
- Aside from your assigned duties and responsibilities, you are required to:
- Meet with one of our Senior BCBAs 1 hr/mth
- Complete 10 hrs of CEU credits per year in EI approved trainings/workshops
Home-Based Program Behavior Specialist
A behavior specialist delivers services under the supervision of a Senior BCBA. Behavior specialists work 1:1 with children in accordance with the treatment plan, gather data on behaviors and target skills necessary for the supervisor to evaluate the effectiveness of the treatment plan. A behavior specialist may not conduct behavioral evaluations, establish, or modify a child's treatment plan.
Requirements:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA); OR
- Completed 40 hrs of training/workshops in applied behavior analysis techniques
- Education:
- Minimum of 12 semester hours of college coursework in psychology, education, social work, behavioral sciences, human development and be enrolled in a course of study leading to an associate's or higher degree by an accredited college or university; OR
- Completed a minimum of 48 semester hours of college courses in an accredited college or university; OR
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent and have completed 500 hours of employment providing ABA services.
- Aside from your assigned duties and responsibilities, you are required to:
- Meet with your Senior BCBA 2 hrs/mth
